Each card comes with a picture and caption in both English and Hebrew. The captions for each set of 13 cards are:
Haman - the villain
King Achashverosh - the King of Persia and its 127 provinces
Queen Vashti - the wife of King Achashverosh who was sentenced to death
Mordechai the Jew - the leader of the Jews in Persia
Queen Esther - the chosen wife to replace Queen Vashti, who risked her life on behalf of the Jews
Scroll of Esther - the written story of Purim, to be read twice, once on Purim night and once on Purim day, a mitzvah of Purim
Sending of Gifts - another mitzvah of Purim
Gifts to the Poor - another mitzvah of Purim
Feast - another mitzvah of Purim
Noise makers or 'Groggers' - custom of sounding out the name of Haman during the reading of the Scroll of Esther
Mask - custom of masquerading oneself on Purim (usually by children)
14 Adar - the date of the holiday of Purim
Fast of Esther - occurs on the 13th of Adar, the eve of the holiday of Purim
